Job Description Summary

As part of our Best in Class Finance Team, this role will focus on fueling the growth of our key Therapeutic Areas by devising innovative solutions to complex problems in forecasting, accounting, compliance, and project management. This role will allow you to apply your knowledge of finance to real-world financial modeling, analysis, and reporting across multiple Finance functions including Business Planning & Analysis (BPA) and Financial Reporting & Analysis (FRA).

As an FDP manager, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and corporate procedures and develop a strong understanding of all key areas of Finance in the US pharmaceutical market and contribute to projects as requested.

This position will be located at East Hanover, NJ and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require 10% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/or international).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Through various rotational assignments, gain strong understanding of all key areas of finance in US pharmaceutical market including, Business Planning and Analysis (BPA), Financial Reporting and Accounting (FRA), Internal Audit, Treasury, Managed Markets Finance (MMF), and Business Development and Licensing. Contribute to projects, teams, and initiatives as required.
  • Gain excellent understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical market and key trends affecting the company.
  • Gain understanding of drug development process and regulatory environment for new drugs.
  • Establish strong constructive relationships with colleagues both inside and outside of Finance function.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent 4-Year University degree. MBA required.
  • 1-3 years professional finance experience preferred, preferably in Pharmaceuticals or Healthcare.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong executive presence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills/Excel power user.
  • Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including leading and motivating teams.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity/flexibility/adaptability.
  • Strong cultural awareness and people agility.
  • Inquisitive Mind-set/Active learner.
  • Strong record of innovation/creative thinking.
  • Strong problem solving skills/Process orientation.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting or other related field preferred.

Salary Range:

$102,400.00 - $153,600.00
