General Summary: The Expeditor will support Planning, shipping, and daily reports for Planning. Will oversee a variety of materials including, Chips for NPI and production, small assembly parts, computes peripherals, boards, sockets, and other material as needed for the line. Will work closely with Planners, Inventory Control, Supervisors, Engineering, and others as necessary. Will follow all quality, safety ESD and COVID-19 procedures and protocols as required.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring incoming boards and create tasks for rework as directed.
- Will be a backup for ATE daily priority list.
- Update and distribute weekly PBR reports.
- Support Planner working with the CM and labs for rework tasks.
- Maintain Board tracking for reworks.
- Ship parts and materials to domestic and international locations.
- Kit work orders
- Initiate tasks to order PCBs for PBR’s
- Pickup and delivery of materials between labs.
- Supporting the cycle counts and reconciliation.
Skills required:
- High School diploma or equiv.
- Good English reading, writing and communication skills required.
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Experience with electronics material handling requirements.
- Computer skills, MS office (Excel, Word Outlook), SAP or other inventory related software.
Candidate must be able to work in a demanding environment. They must demonstrate mindfulness and concern about the quality of their work. Must be comfortable working and communicating with other employees. The ability to lift 40 lbs is required. Managing small delicate parts with a high degree of care and precision is needed to prevent damage to the components.
