This position is responsible for organizing and managing the marketing department and for the overall marketing functions at the Community. Within the scope of responsibilities is advertising, public relations, internal and external training programs, processing of resident applications, sales related occupancy, and marketing and fund raising events that involve the greater community. Participates with the community leadership team to promote the mission to provide senior services that are guided by Christian values. The employee values the Community as the residents' home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care.
Education, Experience and/or Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications desired.
- Two (2) years' experience in marketing, sales, or related field desired.
Special Knowledge:
- Understanding of payer sources such as Medicare and Medicaid.
Physical Demands:
This position is classified as Sedentary Work for physical exertion requirements. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasional lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
