ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

Position Summary:  

Servers at IAH are essential in delivering the exceptional OTG guest experience. Your role involves educating guests, making recommendations based on their preferences, taking orders, upselling special items, and maintaining a clean and sanitized area. To succeed in this role, a server should enjoy working with others, providing outstanding guest experiences, and be motivated to keep the area/restaurant clean and well-stocked.

Make up to $95,000 annually!

Responsibilities :

  • Greet guests promptly and pleasantly, always with a smile

  • Deliver beverages and menus promptly 

  • Educate guests on menu items and wine and beer selections; make recommendations to guests upon request; communicate all daily food and drink specials  

  • Follow OTG cash handling and cash register policies and procedures  

  • Regularly clean and sanitize the work environment

  • Assist other servers as needed and clearing tables 

  • Assist in the training and development of new employees  

  • Monitor and report intoxicated guests to M anager

  • Communicate any product runouts, equipment issues, or quality of service problems to the M anager immediately  

  • Perform o ther duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS  

  • Must be at least 18 years of age  

  • Fully conversational in English 

  • Able to  lift  up to 35 lbs. in weight  

  • Must complete required restaurant training

  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch  

  • Must be able to work varied hours/days, nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather conditions
