Position Overview:

As part of our talented HR team, you will be the subject matter expert on all things related to data management and analysis inside the Human Resources function. You will be tasked with evaluating employee data across multiple platforms and providing insights to a variety of stakeholders within the organization, including but not limited to executive leadership; business partners; HR functional leaders; and external functional teams such as legal and communications. You will be responsible for connecting insights which are not commonly related and unifying the human resources function using data. You will be tasked with supporting both operational reporting requests as well as conduct ad hoc data analysis. You will be expected to meet deadlines, understand business requirements, proactively develop solutions and while creating scalable processes to drive continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and foster relationships throughout the business to become a trusted source of insight on people data

  • Maintain existing content and building new content on a variety of reports (Talent Acquisition, HR Enterprise Insights, Diversity)

  • Maintain employee data management systems to allow for accurate data and timeliness of external processes

  • Facilitate knowledge-share sessions on reports and data insights to all levels of the human resources organization

  • Produce timely and accurate reports for internal and external business partners to be used in making the best decisions to improve business performance

  • Perform more advanced analysis as needed using statistical methodologies

  • Provide assistance to other functions as needed; such as the Compensation team during annual rewards planning, diversity measures for companywide DEI efforts, payroll team for bi-weekly pay processing and sales for commission payout analysis

  • Allow your curiosity to drive your data explorations to create unique, beneficial impacts on the business

  • Create and present complex ad hoc data analysis and reports; identify errors and deficiencies and make process improvement recommendations

  • Develop, conduct or participate in specialized presentations and training covering operational and/or technical information to key stakeholders

  • Trouble shoot HR related issues and identify business opportunities

  • Perform confidential research related to Human Resources issues

  • Assist end users on interpreting reports and how to leverage insights into making informed business decisions

  • Design innovative reporting processes

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; advanced operational experience with Excel is required

  • High comfortability with designing, maintaining, and distributing Power BI Reports.

  • Ability to discern patterns within data, and understand and effectively communicate their potential business impacts to a variety of audiences

  • Demonstrated passion for the power of human capital data in transforming the operations of the human resources function

  • Familiarity with basic statistical concepts and the ability to apply them to varied datasets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, or related discipline

  • Experience handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, with Workday and Oracle experience preferred

  • At least two years of experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred

Working Conditions:

  • This role is hybrid, onsite 3 days a week and 2 days remote in home office. This position could be onsite in either our Mettawa, IL OR Fond du Lac, WI location.
