As the Commercial Credit Analyst II, you will analyze, and performing in depth typed reviews of financial information for current and prospective borrowers for all types of business structures. Your goal will be to assess commercial loan risk through the evaluation of financial statements, debt service capacity, company management, loan collateral, industry trends, and guarantor financial capacity and to communicate effectively with our stakeholders. As a part of your responsibilities understanding and adhering to the Bank's loan and regulatory policies will play an integral role in your success.
This position can be performed in-person or hybrid at our Operations Center in White River Junction VT, Burlington VT or Portland, ME service areas.
Three years commercial loan underwriting experience is preferred. Aptitude to underwrite various types of business structure is an asset. B.A. or B.S in accounting, business administration or economics; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the business/banking field. Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and knowledge of financial spreadsheet software including CreditQuest would be beneficial, but not required. Comfortable using computers and communicating with persons in all levels of the organization. All Mascoma Bank team members must always maintain confidentiality and privacy.
