Senior Technology Sales Support Specialist, Lien Solutions
Wolters Kluwer Finance division creates solutions for regulated financial departments and institutions to help customers meet their obligations to external regulators. Within the Finance division, Lien Solutions combines accuracy, speed, and service to help manage risk and simplify complexity across your entire portfolio of assets, from UCC filings and vehicle titling to lien search and real property service.
As the Senior Technology Sales Support Specialist, you will work alongside sales representatives to provide technical expertise for a variety of customer accounts across industries. Assigned to a specific set of Compliance Solutions (CS) offerings, you will help articulate a product’s value propositions and drive growth of strategic product offerings.
You are responsible for leveraging pipeline data to identify potential new or cross-sell opportunities that can be introduced to existing customers. You will be accountable to achieve a quota for a specific set of offerings, adhere to defined sales methodologies, processes and policies that govern the sales process, and develop internal working relationships with other CS Sales Reps. You will also work closely with the Product organization, ensuring product enhancements meet the needs of Compliance Solutions’ customers.
In this role, you will report to the Associate Director, Sales Solution Consulting and work a hybrid schedule (two days in office, three days from remote home office). Office locations are Waltham, MA or Houston, TX.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work alongside other Compliance Solutions, Financial Services, and Specialty Sales Reps to identify and pursue opportunities for a subset of Compliance Solutions products across the lead-to-order process.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge and technical understanding of specific products within the CS portfolio.
- Support sales representatives and product representatives on solution design related activities for highly complex or customized solution offerings.
- Identify additional cross-/up-sell opportunities for strategic, high-growth products using SFDC data and collaboration with sales representatives.
- Build, tailor, and conduct demos to demonstrate technical functionality of CS offerings and demonstrate how they address a customer’s needs.
- Build rapport in product overviews and customer-facing meetings by demonstrating technical understanding and articulating a product(s) value proposition.
- Present Compliance Solutions’ technical capabilities and provide expert insights to support the sale of assigned product offerings.
- Deliver against individual quotas.
- Progress technical expertise by leading and attending internal training sessions alongside product team members.
- Support product road mapping by sharing customer insights that help shape the prioritization of key product enhancements.
- Develop and mentor new and existing team members of varying levels of experience.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience as primary SME voice (Presales Engineer, Solution Consultant, Solution Architect, Solution Engineer, etc.) supporting sales cycles, preferably in cloud-based technology products.
- Articulate the value propositions of complex software solutions in internal and client-facing settings.
- Lead effective solution overviews and technical discussions using story-telling and executive presence.
- Present to a wide range of audiences, from technical champions to senior executives, in a clear and effective way.
- Proven ability to quickly and deeply learn new technologies and clearly communicate their value proposition.
- Communicate effectively in both face-to-face and virtual selling environments with senior executive stakeholders.
- Team effectively with Sales team members across a variety of industries and accounts.
- Effectively conduct or receive knowledge transfer with other team members.
- Highly goal oriented, focused on achieving / exceeding expected targets.
- Stay organized and manage multiple priorities at once.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Experience in the lending or corporate compliance industries.
- Sales experience and understanding of the lead-to-order process within lending or corporate compliance industries.
- Analytical background with the ability to interpret and action on sales data.
- Experience with lien management and UCC solutions.
- Demo2Win or similar certifications.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to travel when needed (approximately 30%).
