Accenture Software is seeking an experienced Software Sales Director, with a proven track record of over-achievement, who can join our exceptional team and make an immediate impact in our software team.
The Continuum Control Plane (CCP) is a platform that helps clients evolve their way of working by optimizing key processes in application and infrastructure management in the complex world of the hybrid cloud.

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet and exceed sales targets including licenses, maintenance, and SaaS solutions within specified sales territory, geography, and/or set of targeted accounts for the CCP.
  2. Accountable for the Accenture Software products’ sales targets including licenses, maintenance, and SaaS solutions.
  3. Proactively manage software sales campaigns and close opportunities using deep sales process and software offering or product expertise.
  4. Cultivate relationships ranging from C-Level IT and business leaders to ensure growth of software revenue in complex transformational opportunities.
  5. Meet key clients and prospects within established accounts on a regular basis to build and nurture the relationship, as well as look out for further opportunities.
  6. Comprehend and effectively communicate Accenture’s overall business strategies, offerings, and technology, how they relate to provide total client business value, and how our software products align with these objectives.
  7. Effectively team with the Pre-Sales, Product Management, Professional Services, and Engineering to bring the right resources to the sales effort to ensure a successful pursuit.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.

What you need:

  1. Minimum of 5 years working with technology modernization for moving companies into the modern hybrid cloud continuum.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a lead, sales, or pre-sales on complex programs in modern infrastructure and application management in a multi-cloud environment.
  3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have a minimum of 6 years work experience).

Preferred Skill Requirements:

  1. Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud processing systems.
  2. Broad knowledge of the cloud technology competitive landscape and marketplace.
  3. Experienced in building and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives (CEO, CIO, COO, CAO, etc).
  4. Experience in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns, and offers, and in the origination of new business.
  5. Proven track record of executing complex sales opportunities - throughout all phases.

Professional Skill Requirements:

  1. Persuasive communication skills
  2. Advanced negotiation skills
  3. Self-motivated, persistent and with a positive mental attitude

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

Colorado $131,100 to $234,100

New York $121,400 to $271,000

Washington $139,600 to $249,300
