Electrical Engineer (MEP) - Orlando, FL
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 6-10+ years of experience to join our client's dynamic MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) firm in the Orlando area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, including Commercial, Public Sector, Residential, and Municipal buildings.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 6-10+ years of experience to join our client's dynamic MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) firm in the Orlando area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, including Commercial, Public Sector, Residential, and Municipal buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems from schematic design through to construction administration, using cutting-edge software such as REVIT..
- Prepare detailed electrical engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for building systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct site visits, field assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with codes and client specifications.
- Utilize industry-standard software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering tools.
- Stay current with electrical codes and standards to ensure the design meets safety and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 6-10+ years of experience in the design and engineering of electrical building systems.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
- Proficiency in electrical system design and preparation of construction documents.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC).
- Experience with a variety of building types, including Commercial, Residential, Public Sector, and Municipal projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process
- Previous experience working with an MEP firm.
