Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving our financial planning and analysis. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing comprehensive financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including capital investments, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
- Performing financial reporting and preparing detailed reports for presentation to senior management.
- Driving process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
- Coordinating with different teams to gather inputs and build consensus on financial estimates.
- Conducting benchmarking and process analysis for continual improvement of forecasting and budgeting techniques.
- Performing risk and opportunity assessments to support the achievement of financial objectives.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (CFA/CPA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology industry.
- Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of financial software and databases.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences.
- Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
- Proactive, independent, and able to work in a team to deliver high performance.
