Financial Advisor position with G. Stephen White & Associates – A private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their financial objectives, and offering tailored recommendations to help them achieve their goals.
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning services, including but not limited to retirement planning, investment management, tax strategies, estate planning, and risk management.
  • Maintain and grow a book of business by identifying opportunities for new client relationships and fostering existing client loyalty.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses, staying informed about market trends and developments to offer relevant insights to clients.
  • Collaborate with our team of professionals to ensure a cohesive and seamless client experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  •  Five years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Clients/assets to bring over 
  • Series 7, Series 66 and Life & Wealth licensure is required
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CFP is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide sound financial advice.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of financial planning software and tools is a plus.
