Systems Analyst/QA Tester

Hybrid - 3x a week onsite - Richmond, VA

12 month contract

$45/hr-$60/hr W2


Hours: 11:30am-8:30pm


Skills:

  • Does not require specific testing or coding experience
  • Looking for a detail oriented candidate with technical acumen
  • Main responsibility is doing "Maintenance/health checks" on systems
  • This candidate will go through a 2 week training where they will be taught all of the specific testing skills needed.


Facilitates systems integration testing between wholesale applications and customers' systems including managing environmental configurations; troubleshooting and analysis; and issue resolution across internal applications, access channels, and end user systems. Understands Fedwire Funds, Securities, and the National Settlement Service.


Core Responsibilities

• Facilitates testing activities (Depository Institution tests, Operational Readiness Tests, or special testing campaigns), manages complex relationships with customers, and troubleshoots issues. Ensures testing communication and issue escalation.

• Supports customer application testing initiatives involving the Fedwire Funds services, Fedwire Securities services, and National Settlement Services for those customers who access Fedwire services, FedLine Direct (FLD), and/or FedLine Advantage (FLA) channels.

• Engages customers to understand their emerging testing needs via emails, telephone calls, and web requests. Represents the Voice of the Customer (VOC) for product development.

• Executes test strategies and leverages standard and consistent approaches for testing.

• Identifies anomalies within the Depository Institution Testing (DIT) environment and escalates issues and concerns.

• Performs customer setups and configurations within the DIT environment.

• Provides Saturday (pre-production) support for customers performing Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and support for customers performing regular testing in both DIT and Production environment.

• Answers and responds to moderately complex inquiries from depository institutions to assist with configuration and application testing.

• Generates metrics related to operations and application support.

• Ensures special testing efforts like Business Resumption Test (BRT), Import Export Testing, and any activities to support Client initiatives.
