POSITION SUMMARY
The first level of technical application of the drafting function.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Utilizes project drafting standards and adheres to plans and schedules
• Uses CAD equipment and techniques.
• Makes detail drawings from rough sketches involving intricate calculations and the application of fundamental engineering principles.

DIRECTION RECEIVED

• Works under general direction of discipline supervisor in accordance with specific instructions regarding project deadlines, priorities and budget constraints. Finished work is reviewed.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Drafter Intern - Education = Junior or Senior Year in High School
Drafter IV - Education = High School Diploma
Drafter III - Education = High School Diploma; Experience = 2 years
Drafter II - Education = High School Diploma; Experience = 4 years
Drafter I - Education = Tech/Trade School or equivalent; Experience = 6 years
