Lead Cook
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to come play a important and exciting role at beautiful Homestead Country Club. Come join our team that provides excellent dining experiences for our club members, whether it's in our full-service restaurant or at our pool side patio.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare outstanding meals for our members.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and consistent manner.
• Maintain a clean and prepared station at all times.
• Utilize time efficiently to ensure quality of service.
• Ability to use kitchen equipment including but not limited to: ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, knives, etc.
• Completes all assigned prep and checklist functions as specified by supervisor during working shift.
• Responsible for ensuring that all food is properly handled, labeled and stored.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least one (1) year of previous experience in a kitchen environment is required.
• Must be a motivated team-oriented individual that can maintain professionalism.
• Must be able to represent Homestead Country Club in a polite and courteous manner to our club members.
• Ability to prepare a diverse variety cuisine from basic club food to more sophisticated entrees.
• Display a positive attitude and work hard.
