PURPOSE Provides field support to our Ready Frame Operation, sales staff, and customer base, by being present at the jobsite and acting as the liaison between the field and location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize product knowledge to support sales staff and customer needs. Read plans and transfer the understanding of plans to the construction site. Continue to increase knowledge in MBA through continuous improvement; review MBA daily to determine new job starts. Initiates meetings with potential Ready Frame customers and customize presentations to fit their needs. May steadily increase sales to meet annual budget. Develop a daily schedule to visit jobsites one week before schedule start date to give sales and operations an update on the status of the job. Attend all Pre-construction meetings to help educate our customers on the Ready Frame process and get familiar with the new job(s). Determine with the help of sales and customers all new framers and schedule to be at the jobsite to do training when they start their first houses and continue working with them until they are comfortable with the Ready Frame process. Develop a follow up schedule to make sure everything went well on the jobsite and determine how much material was left over. Review job with the assigned Sales Rep to adjust lumber packs going forward. Educate, communicate, and do a basic introduction with framers unfamiliar with the Ready Frame process. Submit weekly report on jobsite calls with details of progress, issues, and suggestions for improvements. Submit a schedule for the following week's calls and objectives. Attend Ready Frame calls, bringing everyone current on jobsite progress and discuss any issues that need attention. Acts as a liaison between the field and the location, including design, production, and management. Provide support in scheduling and delivery as needed. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School diploma 3 years' experience in construction or a related field Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not a requirement. COMPETENCIES Must be thoroughly familiar with the Ready Frame process to include Design, Scheduling, Production, Packaging and Delivery. Ability to read Architectural and Structural Plans, and EWP and Ready Frame layouts. Ability to carry yourself in a professional manner. Organizational skills Ability to multitask, manage time, work under tight schedules to meet deadlines, and perform job duties with minimal supervision. Ability to answer phone calls, emails, and use an iPad to communicate with customers, designers, sales reps, and supervisors with electronic devices. Thorough knowledge of framing and building materials with ability to assist in the design aspect of the Ready Frame projects. Ability to build a relationship with framers, builders and potential customers. Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety standards Ability to design a Ready Fram project.
