Position Summary:

We are a customer-focused team to help Sellers and suppliers grow on Walmart Marketplace, providing goods to our customers at the best possible prices. We work within our given books of businesses to grow a dedicated cohort of invested sellers through intermittent meetings, relationship building, and strategic plans.

What you'll do:

  • You will be part of the Strategic Initiatives team and work closely with category leads, strategic account managers, business analysts, data & analytics team, and site merchandising.
  • The Manager, Seller Planning for Home, is responsible for developing, executing, and communicating business-critical reporting to help marketplace account managers analyze their business.
  • Act as a liaison between data analytics and the Home team, being the subject matter expert on any data or metric changes that impact the business.
  • Partner with Account Managers by providing seller-level forecasts for key partners and help identify risks and opportunities in your areas of business.
  • Drive opportunity sizing and evaluation of new capabilities: develop analyses in support of new product launches and business concepts, to support prioritization; following key launches, analyze results in support of hindsight and future planning.
  • Partner cross-functionally: build relationships with cross-functional partners to achieve aligned goals for the business; collaborate with marketplace analytics, leads, and strategic account managers on planning and forecasting.
  • Experience leveraging data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) to access insights and adjust reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in business management, omni-channel merchandising, or financing.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Analytical skills; know how to analyze to drive decisions.
  • You are proactive and thrive in a constantly evolving, fast-paced, dynamic environment, acting with a sense of urgency and curiosity.
  • You must be in Hoboken/NYC, San Bruno, CA; Seattle, WA; Bentonville, AR; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • eCommerce experience analyzing seller data.
  • Good communication skills; able to articulate and do presentations.
  • You are proactive and thrive in a constantly evolving, fast-paced, dynamic environment, acting with a sense of urgency and curiosity.
  • You have strong analytical skills and know how to identify and analyze data to drive decisions.

  • You are organized, disciplined, and can independently identify steps required to move projects forward and deliver a positive outcome.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00 in Hoboken, New Jersey and $91,000.00-$169,000.00 in San Bruno, California. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
