Job Description

Need IT Infrastructure & Service Support Engineer in Santa Clara and Irvine, CA

(IT Infrastructure & service support)

• Connectivity from & to Labs (including apps)
• Patch management platform and coordination
• Central VM clusters, storage and replication
• OS base and hardened image
• CI/CD tools, pipeline
• External sharing (e.g., SecureShare)
• IT vendor management and procurement
• Manage relationships with vendors
• Coordinate purchases, upgrades, maintenance, HW break-fix
• Manage software inventory & license compliance.

Engagement terms:

• Location: Santa Clara and Irvine, CA
• Hourly rate: $25-30/hr. ONLY on 1099 basis (The candidate should have their certificate of Professional and general liability insurance that is typical of an independent contractor for 1099)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract duration: It is very likely 6 months will extend to 12 – 18 but they are committed to beginning with 6 months.
• Interview: Phone interview.
• Positions: 2
• Background checks are required.
• Candidates need to start immediately.
