As a GE Appliances Financial Analyst (Dish) you’ll be responsible for reporting simplification, forecasting, and supporting all aspects of the Dishwasher new product introduction (NPI) financials. This role will also partner with the Senior Director of Finance to provide financial support in strategic planning and forecasting cycles including annual 3–5-year long term strategic planning, annual operating budget, and monthly short-range forecasts.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Leads financial analysis related to new product introduction (NPI) programs for dishwasher products. Analysis includes cost/benefit and payback calculations and forward business commercial and financial impact.

  • Serves as key point of contact with cross-functional program teams, including individuals from Technology, Product Management, and other Finance functions. Frequent communication with multiple program managers is essential.

  • Measures all program benefits and spending to achieve financial commitments. Develops and utilizes risk management tools and concepts to ensure flawless execution of programs.

  • Leads all financial preparation and presentations during formal program tollgate reviews including Financial, Marketing, and Program reviews. Drives accountability for variances to plans and delays in program execution.

  • Leads monthly NPI tracking and reporting analysis post launch including orders, sales, margin, implementation costs, and other NPI scorecard measurements.

  • Works with the Technology and Product Management teams to roll up multi-year NPI spending budget.

  • Completes monthly NPI investment and expense forecast and variance analysis.

  • Performs monthly closing and quarterly account reconciliation requirement for Dishwasher products including accruals and journal entries.

  • Supports cross-functional analysis working to improve overall product line profitability.

  • Owns commercial PL estimates for SRO, LTP, and SII processes.

  • Partners with the Senior Director, Finance to drive forecasting improvements through the SOP process, driving alignment between SOP, PM, and Commercial teams.

  • Provides support to Operating/Finance teams on key initiatives/ad hoc reporting.

  • Champions for process improvement including reporting simplification, automation, and forecasting accuracy.

Educational and Experiential Background

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Previous experience with Oracle/ERP reporting tools.
