POSITION SCOPE

The Yard Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing equipment at all three of our major yards. Load and unload equipment, move it to different staging areas, wash equipment and perform inspections on all equipment to include heavy construction equipment to pick-up trucks.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Assist Fisher Employees, vendors and transport companies who are delivering or picking up equipment.
  • Utilize HCSS software to receive and ship equipment.
  • Utilize HCSS software to perform equipment inspections and make recommendations for repair etc.
  • Manage equipment storage throughout the three yards and maintain necessary and accurate paperwork.
  • Consistently improve procedures to streamline the process.
  • Checks for damage, and parks machines in appropriate area for service.

  • Maintains yard, offices, and storage areas to ensure they are clean and organized.
  • Utilize forklift(s) as required to load / unload equipment or materials.

  • Assist with inventory audits on an as needed basis and maintain an accurate record of inventory at each of the three yards.
  • Occasionally pick up and run parts to jobsites.
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND

  • Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Knowledge of safe work policies, procedures, and practices
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Applicant must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and have a clean motor-vehicle record to meet company insurance guidelines.
  • Willing to work in a team environment.
  • Willing to travel to other locations all within the Phoenix metro area.
  • Individual must be able to lift objects weighing 50 lb. on a regular basis.
