Join our dynamic team as a Principal Software Engineer and work on exciting, cloud native services that interact with Liquid Cooled Racks in OCI data centers and perform remote telemetry collection. Our unique suite of micro services are deployed on Oracle cloud and interacts with the underlying hardware infrastructure in OCI data centers worldwide for firmware compliance, security management and remote data collection. We control the full Software Life-Cycle from architecture to release. Help shape the Cloud management offerings for Oracle's cutting-edge systems while working with some of the most talented and experienced software developers in the industry.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the designing, developing, and deploying cloud native services.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy cloud native services that are the foundation for OCI core services.
- Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and will be expected to use these skills to communicate with a geographically diverse team across many technology consumers.
- Analyze the architecture, design and implementation of existing products with a focus on improving scalability, performance, extensibility and security.
- Interface with OCI and Oracle's customers to understand their needs and design and deliver novel solutions to address these needs.
- Develop and deliver automated test cases as part of the DevOps model.
- Monitor the health of services deployed in the OCI fleet.
- Should be ok to take on on-call rotations.
- Candidate should be able to operate with minimal assistance/guidance.
- Debug and fix issues that are found in the OCI fleet or reported by Enterprise customers.
- Participate in industry standards bodies to influence the direction of future standards in the fields of device management and monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.
- 8+ years of professional experience designing, implementing, testing, releasing, and maintaining software applications.
- Hands on abilities through product life-cycle: Architecture, Design, Implement, Support.
- Cloud Native Development.
- OCI Fundamentals.
- Full Stack Development.
- Experience with remote telemetry gathering from hardware infrastructure in data centers highly preferred.
- Other desired skills: Python, Terraform, XML, JSON, REST, SNMP Protocol etc.
- US Permanent Resident or Citizen preferred, as work might involve deploying applications to Gov Regions and Oracle National Security Regions (ONSR).
