Job Overview:


They are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Pricing Strategy to join their dynamic team in Lincolnshire, IL. This role is critical to driving our pricing initiatives and ensuring we maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pricing strategies, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Create, implement, and monitor effective pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Utilize insights to inform pricing decisions and strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze pricing data and assess the impact of pricing strategies on sales and margins.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, finance, and product management teams to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine pricing strategies to ensure they remain relevant and effective in a changing market environment.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in pricing strategy, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
