Job Summary:Thewarehouse loader is responsible for accurately building outgoingcompany product loadsand placingthem on route delivery trucks. This position may be required to work the second and/or third shifts. This position is very physical and may require the selected candidate to lift, push, and pull in excess of 80 lbs pounds or more repeatedly during the workday.Essential Job Function:Safely operates electric and manual pallet jacks to move products and pallets throughout the warehouse.Assists associates in staging, loading, unloading, rotation, and storage of products.Restacks and repacks damaged or miss-loaded products.Utilizes load sheets to accurately build outgoing product orders for delivery.Work with load sheets to accurately load pallets of dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products for delivery.Maintains the integrity of the load by ensuring that the pallets are properly stacked and shrink-wrapped.Unloading of the returned products, pallets/plastic flats from the incoming trucks.Work closely with other employees to continually operate a safe, efficient warehouse operation.Maintains a clean and neat warehouse and surrounding area.Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.Qualifications:Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHigh School Graduate or Equivalent.Must be able to follow oral and written instructions given in EnglishAbility to work effectively with others.Must be able to lift and/or move 80 pounds or more.Must possess the ability to maneuver a pallet jack.Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.Experience operating a forklift and an electric pallet jack.The above is intended to describe the essential job functions, the general supplemental functions, and the essential requirements for the performance of this job.It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of all supplemental duties, responsibilities, or nonessential requirements.Ferraro Foods has the right to change, modify, suspend, interrupt, or cancel in whole or in part any job functions outlined in a job description at any time and without advance notice to the employee.Ferraro Foods is an equal-opportunity employer.
