Job Description:
One of Fortune's Best Places to Work, Perkins Coie, LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Advertising Marketing & Promotions Associate or Counsel with at least seven years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have substantive experience in variousareas of advertising law, consumer protection law, and marketing transactions, such as drafting and negotiating ad agency, influencer, celebrity endorsement, sponsorship, online media buying, and other marketing and promotion agreements; reviewing ad copy for false advertising, claim substantiation, IP, and right of publicity issues; counseling on contest and sweepstakes compliance; counseling on price advertising and recurring subscription programs; and advice on loyalty/rewards programs. While not required, experience with false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division dispute work would be welcome.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a group are important characteristics. Successful candidates will have excellent academic credentials and outstanding legal writing and communication skills. Experience in a large or medium law firm setting is also preferred but not required. Although we will consider a fully remote working arrangement for this role, a hybrid working environment is preferred. Visits to the Seattle office will be required and admission to the WA bar is preferred but not required. Candidates interested in being located in the Pacific Northwest are preferred but not required.

Compensation range: $295,000 to $420,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
