Pay Rate: $50.00-60.00/hour

*This role can be performed virtually through 2024/2025, with periodic site (Indiana) visits. Starting January 2026, expect presence to increase. Starting in 2027 and through completion of the project, a full-time presence will be required*

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Project Manager to lead the delivery of automation solutions for a key pharmaceutical project. This role requires oversight of project scope, schedule, and cost plans, ensuring successful project execution in compliance with program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and accountability for meeting approved scope, schedule, and cost plans.
2. Ensure project compliance with planning documents, procedures, and guidelines from the PMO.
3. Plan, monitor, and control project activities for specific areas, ensuring timely project execution.
4. Communicate project progress and staffing needs to the Program Automation Leader and Program Automation Manager.
5. Collaborate with MES, BMS, and Data Historian project managers to ensure successful delivery of each component.
6. Lead RFP preparation, bid analysis, and system integration efforts for assigned areas.
7. Provide regular progress reports and lessons learned to the PMO.
8. Support cost estimates, schedule development, risk management, and change control processes for the project.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. 5+ years of experience in Automation Project Management within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
3. Proven experience with DeltaV-controlled or batch-based capital projects preferred.
4. Proficiency in project management tools such as P6/MS Project, with strong knowledge of metrics and risk management.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.
6. Project Management credentials (PMP) preferred.
