Contract : Length of Assignment: 9 to 12 months
Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and talented Supply Chain Analyst Contractor with strong analytical/data science experience. The role will support three primary areas: (1) Data Extract, Transition, and Load (ETL) to organize it for analysis and generate reports and visualizations to provide insights into key supply chain metrics and performance indicators. (2) Support Optimization requests, such as key performance trend and influencer, price analysis (both commodity and labor), warehouse throughput and inventory optimization, etc., (3) Support Predictive & Exploratory Analytics, such as operation demand forecasting, prioritization of trends, should cost modelling and logistics modelling.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Bachelors Level) in Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred (not required).
The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is:
  • 1 if Bachelor's degree, 0 if Master's degree.
List any specialized training or unique skills required:
  • 1-5 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including advanced functions such as window functions, and familiarity with relational database management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze data using with programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving savings and identifying business improvements through data analysis.
  • Capable of delivering analytical tasks and discover insights that influence business decisions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Cloud based Analytics preferred (not required).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices preferred (not required).

Job Duties
  1. Perform statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets. Develop data literacy to support internal customer decision making.
  2. Utilize ERP system, SQL database, and regular tool such as MS Excel with Power Query for data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Utilize Python or R for in-depth data exploratory and algorithm development.
  3. Develop and maintain benchmarks and KPIs to monitor and report on spend, supplier performance, inventory levels, and delivery performance. Create dynamic visualizations and interactive dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights to business units.
  4. Deliver ad-hoc tasks and analytical requests on time, meeting deadlines and quality standards while working multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, ensuring alignment with company sourcing strategies and savings initiatives.
  6. Conduct validation and auditing of data to maintain high levels of accuracy in reporting and analytics.
  7. Other related duties as assigned.
