This role oversees all TaylorMade and Sun Day Red distribution centers in North America (NAM). The individual will ensure the execution necessary to deliver robust, cost-effective, and timely delivery capabilities which require managing multiple stakeholders and proactive communication. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains a work environment that prioritizes safety. Drives the implementation of company-wide safety campaigns and works proactively with the Safety Manager to remedy all safety-related issues.
- Leads, builds, develops, and motivates a strong team of individuals to perform at the highest level; facilitates and fosters a continuous learning and collaboration environment within the team.
- Manages a team of leaders to ensure timely and accurate put away, pick, pack, and shipment of all orders through multiple brands and channels.
- Develops key performance indicators to track performance and implementation throughout the DC.
- Actively analyzes data with regards to sales, product volume, personnel, and forecasts to ensure proper staffing.
- Represents the facility needs and plays an active role in the annual budget process.
- Proactively evaluates material handling methods, technology, and procedures with regards to CAP-EX.
- Provides expert level support on all DC related activities by identifying goals, developing plans, estimating time frames and monitoring progress.
- Prioritizes building and maintaining professional relationships with other leaders in the business to include Customer Service, Planning, HR, and Sales.
- Manages annual performance evaluations, goal progress, and talent management.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to present information to a diverse range of individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
- Ability to accurately assess talent and effectively motivate and influence others to build skills, efficiently accomplish tasks, and develop leading edge processes.
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- BS Degree or related work experience.
- 15+ years of professional experience in related role.
- 5+ years of full P&L responsibility with sales greater than $250M.
- Experience running a high-volume pick/pack fulfillment center driving continuous improvement.
- Multi facility experience a plus.
- Experience running multiple VAS operations including RFID, kitting and embroidery a plus.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office and warehouse conditions; exposure to noise, dirt, dust and temperatures.
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary, including weekends.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
- Frequent travel may be required.
