Other Conditions: Casual Hire temporary appointment is expected to begin November 1, 2024, or soon thereafter, not to exceed March 31, 2025. Continuation dependent on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage email notification system
2. Update user interface components
3. Ensure mobile device compatibility
4. Manage menus and navigation
5. Adjust stylesheets (e.g., CSS)
6. Manage content to engage users with new content
7. Content management of blog tool
8. Publish new content for other components of the application
9. Assist with information campaigns that promote content to users of the web application

Minimum Qualifications

1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree in fine arts, graphic design, computer science, creative media, communication arts, visual communication design, web or interactive design, or an associate degree in a related field or completed 2 years of university/college in one or more of these fields with 2 years of working experience in the computer field.
2. Functional knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques in computer science or graphic design as demonstrated by the knowledge, understanding, and ability to apply concepts and terminology.
3. Ability to understand oral and written documentation, write reports and procedures, and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members, and individuals.
5. Ability to operate a personal computer and apply word processing software.
6. Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Desirable Qualifications

1. Familiar with Center for Language and Technology, Flagship programs, particularly the Tech Center.
2. Familiar with CLT Flagship Connect Application.
3. Working knowledge of human AI authoring system.
4. Experience with blogging tools.
5. Experience with web app Django.
6. Experience with Faade.
