Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
• Work primarily with HTML, CSS, Laravel+PHP, JavaScript (Vue), and Cordova (for mobile apps).
• Engage with various clients across multiple industries, working on diverse applications and codebases.
• Problem solve, learn new languages and coding styles, and collaborate with our team of developers.

Requirements

• Ability to code Advanced CSS, Laravel+PHP, and JavaScript/Vue required.
• Excellent front-end skills, including HTML and the use of CSS preprocessors and modern principles of JavaScript development.
• 3+ years of experience developing databases using MySQL and/or other SQL databases.
• 3+ years experience in object-oriented Laravel+PHP design and development.
• Experience in Full-Stack (LAMP) development (back-end, front-end, and some server management).
• Experience working with AWS and Linux environments.
• Expertise in source control, code review, and repository management with git.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to function well in a self-directed, team-oriented environment.
• Must be up-to-date and always learning about the latest technical standards and best practices in interactive design and development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player that can also work independently, escalating issues when appropriate.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience developing native/hybrid mobile applications, including PhoneGap/Ionic.
• Some project management or consulting experience.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering/related field; or equivalent work experience.
