D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Division Human Resource Manager for their Human Resources Department. The right candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of Human Resources and payroll at the division level. Serve as liaison between Corporate and Division as well as handle all employee relations issues.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment
  2. New hire processing
  3. Assist managers with employee concerns on disciplinary action
  4. Make managers aware of company policies relating to certain management responsibilities
  5. New hire orientation
  6. Reference checks
  7. Assist with benefits Open Enrollment meetings
  8. Be available to answer employee questions concerning benefits and HR policies
  9. Process salary increases, bonuses, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  10. Administer worker's compensation for division
  11. Make sure all HR regulations are followed
  12. Help train staff
  13. Manage subordinate administrative staff

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises two or more employees in the Main Office. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Annual salary $100,000 - $110,000 (DOE) plus bonus!
