About the Position
Based in Chicago, IL and reporting to the VP of Finance, the Finance Manager will be part of the Central Region CFO team. The successful applicant will oversee accounting and finance for their assigned region(s). Our goals are to:

  1. Provide service and support to the business so that they have all the financial information that they need to make informed decisions
  2. Continuously improve our workflows and procedures to optimize results

The primary responsibilities include:

  1. Manage and coordinate the month-end deliverables
  2. Manage and coordinate the monthly forecast
  3. Supervise and train Financial Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts
  4. Proactively determine the information needs of business leaders and provide it on a quality, accurate and timely basis
  5. Coordinate with our operations and executive management teams for finance-related inquiries
  6. Maintain and distribute existing reporting and analysis as related to financial and operational metrics
  7. Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisions
  8. Research, identify, and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metrics
  9. Manage and coordinate the annual budget process
  10. Manage any current and future mergers and acquisitions from a financial standpoint
  11. Implement procedural change to improve workflows and increase efficiencies
  12. Coordinate with corporate finance to ensure we are compliant with all corporate requirements and requests
  13. Various other assignments, as required.

Position Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  2. Minimum 7 years of accounting and finance experience required
  3. Advanced MS Excel skills
  4. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
  5. Strong management skills
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
