Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Responsibilities

JOIN US AS WE BUILD A NEW ANESTHESIA SERVICE LINE IN BEAUTIFUL, SUNNY PHOENIX, AZ!!

Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is seeking outstanding, passionate, and patient-centric Anesthesiologists to roll out our new Anesthesia service line at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in central Phoenix. We are nationally recognized for quality tertiary care, medical education and research. St. Joes includes the internationally renowned Barrow Neurological Institute, the Norton Thoracic Institute, the Center for Womens Health, the Dignity Health Cancer Institute, and a Level 1 Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP :

This position reports to the Anesthesia Service Line Dyad (Anesthesia Physician Lead and Operations Lead) as part of Dignity Health Medical Group, AZ.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Aptitude for and dedication to medical education and providing evidence-based anesthesia care with high-quality clinical teams that enhance the patient experience and have a committed attitude towards patient safety and quality care
  • Clinically active physician who models the practice of evidence-based medicine and exhibits superior patient experience skills and outcomes in all areas of anesthesia practice
  • Fosters a collaborative model of practice to promote the growth and success of the Dignity Health Medical Group and S t Josephs Hospital and Medical Center as a whole;
  • Collaborates with the Anesthesia Physician Lead to develop and implement educational programs within the department;
  • Interest in educating residents, and students;
  • Works with the Manager and staff in the development and enhancement of practice guidelines;
  • Exemplifies mission-appropriate excellence ;
  • Perform such other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification /Eligible
  • Candidates should have completed an ACGME-accredited residency
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges
  • Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about providing quality care to all in need

Pay Range
$191.58 - $249.95 /hour
