Your future position: IT (Information Technology) Intern
Location: Chicago, IL
About the role, Your Impact:
Concentric Integration provides full-service automation of water/wastewater systems (including design, implementation, and support). The IT Intern is primarily responsible for supporting water/wastewater technology design, including workstations, firewalls, servers, and switches. These systems typically require updates, documentation, backups, endpoint protection, and regular review. The IT group is responsible for day-to-day internal and external support.
What your day-to-day will look like and what you will learn on the job:
- Assists staff with providing design, solutions, and/or product specifications per end-user requirements.
- Assists with proactive maintenance of clients’ systems including Windows Servers, Microsoft Windows clients.
- Assists with updating customer records and network documentation in the system.
- Assists with onsite work for municipal clients, including hardware installation and process start-up/testing.
- Assists with maintaining and reviewing open service tickets.
- Occasionally lifts items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Education Requirement:
Pursuing the completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in an Information Technology Field.

- Effective organizational skills for productive tasks and time management.
- Ability to identify and solve problems promptly.
Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $21.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
