Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in operation management at a senior executive level.
- Experience in major constructions and developing commercial activities.
- Experience in significant asset management and planning, or a regulated business.
- Expertise in specific concepts , operational excellence, cost controlling, and operating systems.
- Proven strong commercial, leadership , and influencing skills through excellent strategic thinking, with conceptual skills and commercial judgement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven track record in building and maintaining good relationships within the shipping industry, local communities, and the government.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the company construction, implementation, and commercial developments of the business during the start-up phase.
- Be the prime point of contact for all stakeholders involved in construction and operational phases.
- Oversee and assist the management team with the development of all internal business policies, strategies, and objectives, presenting these to the Board for approval and overseeing implementation once approved.
- Define, develop, and execute visions & strategies for the company, including business planning and budgeting.
- Manage and guide construction, equipment installation, and implementation plans and activities in line with timeline and budget.
- Lead commercial activities to bring in volume to reach operational maximum capacity within agreed timelines.
- Ensure effective risk management regarding operations and business growth activities, overseeing crisis management planning and business continuity procedures, working closely with the management team.
- Be accountable for financial performance and profitability of the company as well as all development and growth of the business.
- Ensure the Board is kept informed of all current major financial or operational issues and developments, including risk, safety, and security matters.
- Ensure strategic objectives are being met by annually reviewing and revising strategies and business plans, and that the annual business plan is well communicated, understood, and committed to by all employees.
- Represent the organization with major customers, shareholders, the financial community, governmental regulatory authorities, and be the face of the local business in the eyes of the public.
Salary:
200,000 - 250,000 per month
