Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop partnerships with Management Staff to assure timely and effective communication of critical material issues, department priorities and planning activities.
  2. Lead operations organization and partner cross-functionally to ensure internal and external business milestones are achieved.
  3. Provide input for development of Company Strategic Plan for attainment of short and long-term objectives.
  4. Oversee development and monitoring of business, product, and customer KPI; ensure the performance of all contract manufacturers.
  5. Direct ongoing cost reduction and continuous improvement programs within areas of responsibility.
  6. Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of production planning and purchasing.
  7. Provide leadership of strategic sourcing decisions and initiatives.
  8. Review supplier agreements and contracts.
  9. Analyze and implement changes in policies and procedures which improve quality, cycle time, and/or cost.
  10. Report to and work directly with the GM to ensure the strategic and tactical needs of the organization are met.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (Required), Graduate Degree in Management, Operations, Analytics, or relevant technical discipline highly desired.
  2. > 10 years of experience with demonstrated success leading teams in Medtech, Biotech, Lifesciences.
  3. Seasoned professional with strong operations, business development and analytics acumen.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Experience negotiating pricing, supply, and quality agreements.
  6. A results-oriented, self-starter motivated to move the business, initiatives, and people forward.
  7. Entrepreneurial spirit.
