Our banking client is seeking a QA Manual Tester to join their team. As a QA Manual Tester, you will be part of the testing team supporting compliance-driven projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance-driven projects, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering high-quality products through rigorous testing.Client is looking for candidates who have experience in the governance, risk, or compliance space.Job Title: QA Manual TesterLocation: New YorkPay Range: $68-72/hour W2What's the Job?Conduct detailed manual testing of governance, risk, and compliance applications to ensure they meet regulatory and business requirements.Write and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.In addition, will be eventually asked to utilize Selenium with Java to automate test scripts, focusing on repetitive and critical test cases for quicker execution and accuracy. This role is primarily a manual testing role but the automation experience is a huge plus.Execute automated tests and analyze results, providing detailed defect reports.Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA.
