The School of Graduate and Continuing Studies at Alfred University is seeking applications for the position of Director of the Powell Institute. We are seeking candidates with backgrounds in securing external funding for research, training, prevention, and intervention programs. A proven track record of success in such endeavors plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in supervising clinical services and agency administration is required.

Qualified applicants will have a doctoral degree in School, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology or a closely related field. License eligibility as a psychologist in New York State is desirable but not required. We seek motivated, enthusiastic applicants with a good sense of humor, strong interpersonal skills, and the potential for excellence in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Specific duties and responsibilities will include identifying funding sources, submission of grant applications, supporting faculty's funding activities, facilitating development of programs that enhance the lives of children and families, and serving as Director of the Child and Family Services Center, a campus-based child guidance center. This is primarily an administrative position with limited teaching responsibilities focusing mostly on clinical supervision.
