YOUR ROLE

Award-winning, Chicago-based, experiential marketing agency is seeking an Account Coordinator (AC) to support best-in-class marketing programs for multiple clients/brands in industries such as alcohol, CPG and Retail.

Specializing in consumer and trade events, both on and off-premise, the right candidate will play an active role in researching and planning program elements, as well as handling day-to-day field operations including management of field employees for our clients.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist with staff recruitment, interviews and training
  2. Manage field staff including ongoing scheduling of and communication with field team
  3. Research and procure activation elements through various resources
  4. Support program execution by following and improving upon processes to help streamline efforts, maximize performance, and achieve our clients’ goals and objectives
  5. Utilize online reporting system to manage and ensure accuracy of program data via thorough review and approval of incoming reports/data
  6. Elevate market-level concerns, challenges, opportunities, and wins to supervisor
  7. Ensure budget and legal compliance parameters are upheld
  8. Process payments for vendor invoices
  9. Assist with shipment of program elements to markets and maintenance of HQ and local market inventories
  10. Review and approve time sheets and program expenses for field staff, helping to manage and track field staffing budgets
  11. Stay abreast of latest trends, pop culture and technology in credible and tangible ways that add value to agency and clients

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. 1-3 years experience in marketing, including promotions, event planning, event execution, and/or client services; agency experience strongly preferred
  2. Bachelor’s Degree required (Communications, Business, or Marketing preferred)
  3. High energy, initiative, and drive
  4. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  5. Decisive and effective problem-solving ability
  6. Ability to handle multiple tasks with keen attention to detail and thorough follow through
  7. Solution-oriented, with ability to maintain a calm and confident demeanor under pressure
  8. Flexible, willing to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
  9. Strong organizational and time management skills
  10. Experience with project management and/or staffing management software a plus
  11. Proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

SALARY & BENEFITS

  1. $38,000 - $42,000/Year
  2. Hybrid office setting (3 days in office/2 days wfh)
