DP World is looking for a Head of Contract Logistics for the Benelux region. This role ensures operational excellence at all levels of the local operations and strategic alignment with DP World’s international objectives and customer expectations. This leader manages the country leadership team for contract logistics, acts as the strategic point of contact for key customer issues (including escalations), government relations, and employee relations.About the roleHow you will contribute Strategic Leadership: Act as the most senior leader in the assigned countries, directing the very diverse portfolio of contract logistics and serving as the point of escalation for critical issues. Develop and maintain high-level relationships with government bodies/municipalities, educational institutions, and key business leaders in the company and external networks outside of the company. Operational Excellence: Ensure stable, well performing & continuously improving large existing operations, oversee the setup of new logistics sites and integrate new customers, ensuring that operations meet DP World high standards for health & safety of all people within the DP World Contract Logistics. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement the strategic plan for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.Ensure alignment of all policies and processes within the Benelux Contract Logistics organization to regional and global DP World standards. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:Providing strategic guidance & leadership to direct and indirect reports for the direct span of control. Strategically manage relationships with some of the world’s leading technology, automotive and chemical brands, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded, while at the same time delivering a return for DP World. Business Growth and Development: Work closely with the commercial teams and the other business pillars (Freight Forwarding, Ports & Terminals, Maritime) to develop and implement end-to-end logistic solutions that support the company’s growth and expansion goals. Working with wider DPW functions to grow the Benelux CL business. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a large team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and long-term work relationships. What you will bringQualifications & Experience Degree level educated, ideally in a field directly related to supply chain & logistics. Aminimum of 20 years’ experience in supply chain solutions. Ideally supporting a broad range of sectors and customers. At least ten years in a senior leadership role. Experience working in a multi-national company is a must. You speak and write fluent Dutch and English – additional languages are a bonus, particularly French & German. Skills High Energy – responsive with a “Can Do” mentality.
