Requirements (E):
Employer: Software Engineer
Duties: Analysis, design, development, code review, and delivery of software applications. Develop and implement the business logic. Design and develop the user interfaces using data flow diagram, UML, and Web stack. Define and write complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions. Develop Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud-based transaction-processing solutions using traditional and emerging technologies, and container-based application development. Create systems that can be easily triaged to find performance bottlenecks and root cause analysis of failure scenarios. Develop products in an agile environment and actively participate in standard Scrum/Kanban process including daily stand-up meetings, iteration planning, and story grooming. Interface with and influence product architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to create great technical requirements and evaluate solutions (in-house or vendor). Manage the code review to ensure it maintains coding standards. Perform Unit Test using the testing tools, involved in performance testing and JVM tuning. Responsible for project estimates, deployment, testing, and delivery including integration and production within given timelines.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
Experience Required: 5 years of progressive experience as Senior Programmer Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Assistant Consultant, or related occupation
Special Requirements: Must have at least 3 years of prior work experience in each of the following:
1. Developing and implementing the business logic using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web services (REST or SOAP), and Microservices.
2. Designing and developing the user interfaces using data flow diagram, UML, and Web stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, Angular, and TypeScript).
3. Developing cloud-based transaction processing using AWS technologies including Kinesis, RDS, and EC2.
4. Developing container-based application using Docker and Kubernetes.
5. Defining and writing SQL queries, procedures, and functions using MySQL and Oracle.
6. Performing unit tests using testing tools including Junit and Mockito to automate the testing of individual components.
Position permits telecommuting.
Salary: $149,781 to $152,380 per year
