Traffic Engineering Department Head (New England)

This nationally ranked multidisciplinary firm is looking to find the perfect Traffic Engineering Department Lead to ramp up their traffic program in New England. While this specific role is targeted to be housed out of their Hartford, CT office- they're open to any of their 9 locations across New England as well. The Traffic Engineering Department Lead will be responsible for:

• Oversee the development of traffic staff including workloads, training, and career planning
• Create a challenging professional environment of innovation, opportunity, development, and continuous improvement for the staff focused on staff growth and succession planning
• Lead the execution of current and future traffic engineering projects
• Serve as Traffic Discipline Lead on pursuits and opportunities

The Traffic Engineering Department Lead should have the following qualifications:

• Civil Engineering degree, PE required, PTOE preferred
• 15+ yrs related experience
• Signal design, traffic impact studies, overall knowledge of Vissim, Synchro, Microstation
• Existing relationships with public entities is a plus
• Ability to foster business development relationships
