Senior Estimator - Metals Fabrication experience

1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm

ON-SITE Milwaukee, WI (Local Candidate No Relo, No sponsorship)

$60-90k Based On Experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine appropriate manufacturing processes for producing products to customer specifications.
• Generate product cost estimates, including material costs and labor costs.
• Generate product Bill of Materials and Process Routings.
• Generate CNC programs for laser, plasma, and oxyacetylene burn tables.
• Design and verify manufacturing fixtures and jigs.
• Generate production drawings and work instructions as needed.
• Maintain and organize product specifications.
• Provide technical support to organization as needed.
• Ensure that products are manufactured to customer specifications.
• Other duties as assigned or directed by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A good working knowledge of metal fabrication processes and principles such as Saw cutting, Press Brake forming, Rolling, CNC punching and cutting, welding, and basic machining.
• Familiarity with all types of steel: plate, tube, bar, etc.
• Solid blueprint interpretation skills and well versed with engineering drawings
• 3D CAD modeling and drawing generation experience (Solidworks preferred).
• Ability to plan and organize workflow in efficient manner.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years minimum experience
• MUST HAVE a heavy metals fab shop background
• HUGE PLUS metals purchasing experience
