CBS Boston and Paramount Global are seeking an energetic and highly motivated multi-platform Account Executive to join our team. Candidates must possess strong presentation and communication skills, experience working with advertising agencies, growing market share, and closing new business and digital. Our diverse portfolio includes CBS Boston (WBZ, TV38, CBS News Boston) and Paramount digital and streaming assets (Paramount+ and PlutoTV), as well as the opportunity to sell across the 14 CBS Television Stations group owned & operated markets (multi-market selling).
We are seeking an individual who can craft and sell custom marketing campaigns to both direct clients and advertising agencies. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and possesses excellent organizational skills. They should also be upbeat, passionate about new business opportunities, and have strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Responsibilities/Job Duties
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals
- Develop and implement strategies for selling high-profile properties such as NFL, March Madness, College Sports (NCAA, Big10), The Masters, PGA, LPGA, WNBA, NWSL, The Grammy's, AMAs, Tony's and multiple local events and initiatives.
- Create, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Increase shares of existing agency business by using Paramount's multi-platform assets
- Ability to sell multi-platform and key differentiators of Paramount's streaming solutions
- Ability to build and implement multi-platform media plans and manage invoicing
- Explore innovative and non-traditional avenues to generate revenue
- Identify and cultivate new business accounts
- Create customized, client-focused solutions that demonstrate the value of Paramount
- Collaborate with internal team members, ensure customer satisfaction and optimal performance
- Handle all paperwork in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated track record of developing and selling broadcast and digital solutions
- Strong marketing competence and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Wide Orbit, Invoicing, as well as Microsoft Suite of products
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Prior experience in selling media
