Our client is an established financial services firm based in Hartford, CT. Operating across 3 businesses: insurance, reinsurance, and asset management ($20+bn AUM), they are a technology-driven firm focused on its people and providing rewarding careers.
Due to continued growth and strategic investment, they are growing their Investment Accounting team.
Within this role, you will work directly on the funds closing books, reporting on performance, attribution, valuation, and counterparty exposure. You will coordinate with administrators and ensure the official books and records are correct. You will also gain exposure to tax work as you work with the Tax Director to coordinate quarterly tax estimates.
Key requirements for this position are:
- Public Accounting or industry experience in the alternative asset management space
- Experience with investment partnership accounting
- CPA designation (or on path)
