Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through closed business within one’s assigned territory
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through a consultative selling approach; knowledge of Challenge Sales preferred
  • Communicate Nextpoint’s value proposition and solution offering
  • Perform product demonstrations, prepare proposals and sales contracts
  • Maintain a high level of activity (meetings per week) to ensure a healthy pipeline
  • Track opportunities in one’s pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and report revenue in CRM
  • Collaborate with other team members (e.g. Marketing, Account Management, Customer Success) to delight prospects and customers
  • Proactively seek opportunities to innovate on our sales processes and create new efficiencies
  • Meet and achieve quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in business or related field
  • 4+ years experience as a full cycle, quota-carrying sales representative, preferably in the legal industry and/or SaaS businesses
  • Demonstrated record of success in previous client-facing roles
  • Interest/experience in working with small-medium sized, start-up tech companies and in rapidly expanding, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative work ethic
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer
  • Ability to travel as needed. Travel may include coming into the Chicago HQ office for events, or going on-site to meet with clients
