Job Title: Vice President, Regional Marketing, Americas

Overview
The Vice President of Regional Marketing plays a pivotal role managing all aspects of marketing, with a deep understanding of building integrated marketing communication plans including reputation, demand generation, customer engagement and enablement programs, in addition to leading and developing a world class regional marketing team. This critical role is a key member of the AVEVA senior leadership team working closely and collaboratively with senior colleagues across the global marketing and sales organizations to maximize marketing performance. This role has direct responsibility and accountability for regional marketing strategy, execution and performance and is the key interface and partner for the marketing organization working with senior sales leadership. They must have the ability to manage live and virtual events, press or analyst coverage, brand recognition, social media marketing, digital and email lead generation activities, channel/partner marketing, and the creation of localized or translated content. The role is also responsible for operational tasks such as regional, market and country reporting, sales enablement, budget management, and third-party partnerships and relationships.
The Team
Reporting directly into the SVP, Enterprise and Regional Marketing, this VP, Regional Marketing will oversee a team of 8 direct reports across regional marketing, lead development and partner marketing with a total organization size of 30 in the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine the regional marketing strategy, design and implement an integrated reputation, demand, engagement and enablement plan to support the business go-to-market strategies.
- Lead a team of regional marketing resources including recruiting, retaining, and developing the team to maximise performance.
- Work to establish a common campaign framework aligned to the target market / sales segmentation model for the regional marketing function that reflects the needs and interests of the region’s local markets, including localization of global campaigns.
- Analyze external market trends, competitive landscape, sales addressable market and total addressable market to guide regional priorities with deep understanding of market and competitive environment.
- Understand and guide the teams on target personas, industries and solutions focus on partnership with portfolio and industry marketing.
- Shape regional strategies in partnership with regional sales leaders to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities, adjusting to accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities; attend regular sales deal reviews, lead the demand council pipeline reviews, and regional quarterly business reviews, providing recommendations on segmentation and prioritization.
- Build the regional marketing strategy for the indirect business, including working with the partner marketing ecosystem to leverage our sales and support partners and integration and service partners to increase our reach with co-marketing strategies, as well as build out our developer community.
- Work with sales, lead development representatives (LDRs), and channel operations to define an end-to-end revenue management process and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Create a culture of segmentation and orchestration with the goal of improving customer experience.
- Forecast, measure, analyse, and report on the impact of reputation, demand and engagement marketing activities in terms of KPIs aligned to go-to-market strategies.
- Evaluate, select, and manage vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs.
- Ensure all field marketing programs comply with local data privacy and other regulations.
- Manage, adhere to and optimize the field marketing budget.
- Some travel may be required, up to 25%.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 15+ years of marketing experience (ideally within brand building, demand generation, and/or digital marketing)
- 5+ years of marketing leadership experience (ideally within a software/SaaS organizations)

- Proven record of putting customer experience at the forefront of campaign and program planning
- Successful record of enabling and partnering with senior sales leaders to achieve revenue goals
- Experience in relevant markets creating and implementing successful marketing programs that engage new prospects, accounts, and customers; leveraging a range of tactics and technologies

Salary Range: $222,900.00 - $371,700.00
This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
