Calling all engineers! National Grid is hiring for an Engineer position in our Gas Engineering Design team in Waltham, MA. Key Accountabilities
  • Develop designs for natural gas engineering projects to modernize and improve our system.
  • Create AutoCAD drawings for construction under the supervision of Professional Engineers
  • Project manage design projects with third party engineering consulting firms.
  • Analyze project scopes to identify risks and local requirements prior to construction.
  • Manage multiple projects by effectively prioritizing time and tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct occasional site visits to learn construction and build relationships.
Qualifications
  • ABET-accredited B.S. Degree in Engineering required.
  • 2+ years' experience in civil or mechanical engineering required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • EIT Certification (or ability to obtain within one year) required.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design products required.
  • Experience using ArcGIS software preferred.

Salary - $99,000 - $117,000 a year
