Shuttle Bus Driver
General Purpose- Provide transportation for resident members and/or company associates to various destinations according to assigned schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Drive shuttle bus for resident members and/or Judson associates from Judson at University Circle to various destinations for social engagements, medical appointments or other events as scheduled.
  1. Assist resident members into and out of shuttle bus as needed.
  1. Must secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
  1. Operate Cell phone, computer tablet, or other similar device to communicate with supervisor or Security Department to report disruption of scheduled services or emergency situations.
  1. Clean and/or service vehicle with fuel, lubricants and accessories as needed.
  1. Keep records of trips and/or behavior of passengers.
  1. Maintain a record of acceptable attendance and punctuality.
  1. Observe all company rules and safety procedures.
  1. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Education/Experience- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one year related experience.
  2. Communication Ability- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to resident members and/or other associates of the organization.
  3. Certificates and Licenses- Must possess a valid driver's license with no moving traffic violations in the last (3) years.
  4. Basic computer/mobile device experience preferred.
