About the Opportunity :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our paid social and digital marketing efforts for Culture Kings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving results through strategic planning, execution, and optimization of paid social channels along with a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies. This role will be instrumental in driving growth and maximizing ROI through innovative marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:

    • Conduct a comprehensive audit of current paid social and digital marketing efforts, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
    • Develop a short-term and long-term strategic roadmap for paid social and digital marketing initiatives aligned with the company's business objectives.
    • Implement performance tracking mechanisms and establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns.
    • Identify and target new audience segments to expand the brand's reach and diversify customer acquisition channels. This may involve conducting market research, leveraging audience insights, and exploring partnerships or collaborations to tap into new demographics or markets.
    • Analyze the conversion funnel from awareness to purchase and identify opportunities to streamline the customer journey, reduce friction points, and increase conversion rates at each stage. This could involve A/B testing landing pages, optimizing product pages for conversion, and implementing remarketing campaigns to re-engage potential customers.
    • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing team by encouraging experimentation with new ad formats, creative concepts, and messaging strategies. Explore emerging trends and technologies in digital marketing, such as interactive content, augmented reality, or shoppable video, to differentiate the brand and capture audience attention.
    • Develop a long-term growth strategy that prioritizes sustainability, scalability, and profitability. This may involve diversifying revenue streams, exploring new market opportunities, and optimizing resource allocation to ensure sustainable growth and long-term success for the brand. Additionally, establish processes for ongoing performance monitoring, optimization, and adaptation to market changes to sustain growth momentum over time.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive paid social media strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, SEM, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and display advertising.
    • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to optimize performance and achieve departmental goals.
    • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, creative, and sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve marketing efforts.
    • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
    • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally as a Marketing Director or similar, with a focus on paid social and digital marketing within the e-commerce industry.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies, driving measurable results, and achieving KPIs such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and ROI.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the e-commerce industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, as well as experience working with e-commerce platforms and tools.
    • Experience managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI and drive sustainable growth.
    • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture, and developing talent to drive individual and team success.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapt to changing market conditions and business needs, and make strategic adjustments to marketing strategies and tactics as necessary.

$100,000 - $130,000 a year
The actual salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
