Key Responsibilities:

  • The Oncology Account Manager is responsible for effectively communicating technical, therapeutic, and product information to healthcare professionals, promoting the appropriate use of our oncology products, and driving demand within your territory.
  • Must coordinate promotional programs, develop physician advocates, and act as a key resource for various oncology stakeholders.
  • The goal is to manage the territory effectively, exceed sales targets, and adhere to all regulatory and corporate guidelines.
  • Communicate technical and product information to customers to promote on-label use of approved oncology products.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques and marketing strategies to drive demand and expand market presence.
  • The Oncology Account Manager must establish and maintain relationships with key physician advocates and oncology professionals.
  • Arrange and coordinate promotional programs while adhering to promotional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct field activities including lunch-and-learns, customer in-services, and attendance at tumor boards.
  • Serve as a resource for oncology organizations, teaching institutions, and healthcare professionals.
  • The Oncology Account Manager must regularly communicate with the Regional Sales Director, peers, account managers, and internal/external partners to optimize resources and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with OIG, Pharma, and corporate policies and complete administrative tasks such as expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Present and demonstrate your ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Manage territory effectively, maintain accurate territory analysis, and stay within budget constraints.

Qualifications:

  • The Oncology Account Manager must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience of at least 3+ years in sales, preferably in the pharma oncology industry .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM tools like Salesforce/Veeva.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the territory, including occasional nights and weekends. Travel may involve air, rail, or automobile.
  • Strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, personal accountability, and a commitment to achieving business sales objectives.
