Title and Summary

Managing Consultant, Advisors Business Development Overview:

Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Role:

We are pursuing highly motivated individuals with experience in consultative sales across data products, platforms, and/or other analytic services. Individuals should display strong achievement orientation, intellectual curiosity, openness, resilience, diligence, and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in simple ways.

  1. Responsible for business development and ongoing account ownership for Data & Services within the Digital Partnerships segment (focus on digital merchant and fintech relationships) with direct revenue, account ownership, and sales responsibilities.
  2. Refine the value proposition of new and existing D&S capabilities to meet the needs of digital merchant and fintech executives.
  3. Will serve as the face of Mastercard D&S to senior level client stakeholders, including C-Suite Executives.
  4. Responsible for driving coordination within Demand Generation, Marketing, Solutions, and Product teams across D&S business lines and value propositions, focused on the above-defined client vertical.
  5. Responsible for setting the commercial agenda for assigned territory.
  6. Will partner with the Mastercard Core Digital Partnerships team to develop a plan to support their strategic imperatives for target accounts.
  7. Will work closely with Client Services teams for an effective joint go to market and to ensure best-in-class value delivery.

All About You:

  1. Experience in consultative sales across data products, software platforms, and/or other analytic services.
  2. Entrepreneurial mindset.
  3. Strong commercial drive with ability to build and monetize senior client relationships based on thought leadership, empathy, and subject matter expertise.
  4. Ability to own and drive end-to-end sales from initial prospecting through signed contract.
  5. Collaborative attitude with an understanding of how to win as a team.
  6. Strong networker across relevant stakeholder base with the ability to listen, build common ground, and influence in order to effectively advance business opportunities and generate revenues.

Purchase Salary Range: $132,000 - $206,000

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience, and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
